Reports about Circusweek by the classes 6A and 6B

Zirkus

 

At the circus I was in the group of acrobats. On Thursday I had to make a bridge and in the fantasy picture I assisted a little girl. In the show we wore blue costumes and white t-shirts. I didn’t feel very good in the tent, it was very hot.

 

I was an acrobat and had to take care for the others. Three girls of our group had to do the splits. The audience sat in a circle and ate popcorn and cotton candy. The trapeze artists had to turn around at the trapeze. On our school yard there was a big top. The animal trainers had to train the goats and the ponies Prinz and Carlino. In the circus ring the tightrope walker walked on a tightrope. The juggler juggled the juggling pins. The clowns sat on a caravan. The circus rider rode on a horse. The clowns threw confetti.

 

In the circus I loved to eat cotton candy or popcorn. Wow, the show begins! The ring master came into the ring. “Now the show begins!” Some clowns drove a car into the arena. One clown said: “Dear, what’s this on your t-shirt?” The other clown answered: “I can’t see anything.” “Haha, that was just a joke”, he laughed. The audience laughed, too. Now three jugglers juggled with juggling pins. “That’s amazint” one boy of the audience said. Then there was a loud drum: “Bum, bum, bum”. Acrobats came into the ring. The audience applauded. A horse and a child went into the manege. This child was me! The horse was on my right. Tadaaa! I was happy! Now the ring master said: “Now it’s time for a break!” I went to the booths and bought some drinks for friends. Ah! On my right there was my Dad. “Hello Dad, what’s up?” Then two boys went into the ring with a torch. They threw confetti! The show was over and I went home. The moonshine was beautiful.

 

My circus week

On the first day we watched the circus show. I was in the group of the acrobats. After the show we stood up and sang the circus song. Then we made a clown from crepe paper. After we had finished we drew a picture and afterwards we made a circus tent from these pictures and from cardboard. The next day we did our first circus training. Together with Alizée I was at the so-called “Brandenburg Gate”. Each of us held a child on our arms and two other children put their arms onto our shoulders. Then I was in the last scene, the “Fantasy Picture”. I held Floranda at her hips and another child stood on my shoulders. On Wednesday we did the second training. The cloth-dancers were looking for six children for the blacklight show and I was chosen. On Thursday there was our last rehearsal. After that we went to the Landhaus and learned things about the old writing and printing. At four o’ clock there was our first performance. Friday was a short day, we went into the “Jungle”. After that we were in the classroom. At 1.30 pm I went home. On Saturday we had a performance at ten o’ clock, but I was there at already 9.15 am. I had my breakfast. At 9.40 am we put on our costumes. And because I was in the blacklight show, we went into the tent. It was exciting and he had a lot of fun. We were the first and our group was the last. So we opened the show and finished the show. I think I will miss the circus.

 

I was a trapeze artist, I hung at the trapeze and I had a little child and I was dressed up as a lion. And we …. the people when we came, the audience was …

And I had makeup on my face. And I was the first on the trapeze. And I had a lot of fun. Each day we did circus training. I was chosen. I was the only boy in the group.

 

I was on a trapeze, but I didn’t fall down. I was dressed up as a cat. And my face was made up as a cat, too. In the free time we ate waffles and we made music. The waffles smelled fine and the music was very funny. On the whole the circus project was very fine and I liked to hang on the trapeze.

 

On Tuesday and on Wednesday we did training. On Thursday we went to the “Landhaus” and I shot with bow and arrows. On Thursday afternoon we were in the “jungle” in the gym, after the “jungle” we had our first performance. On Friday we watched the last rehearsal of the other group. In the afternoon we were home. On Saturday we arrived at school at 9 o’ clock and at 10 o’clock we had our last performance.

 

I was a clown, and two other clowns spat water into my face. And I made a loud noise with a drum.

And my other friend was a ballerina, but he was a boy and he had girls’ clothes and he had two balls in the top and it looked like breasts, it was really funny.

 

I lay on some pieces of broken glass and a little child was on me. And I touched fire and it didn’t hurt! In my group there were fire eaters, people lying on nail boards, kids with a snake, too.

 

I was a fire eater and a fakir. I lay on the broken glass and a little child was standing on my chest. And I touched the fire and breathed fire. But before we could breathe fire we had to take the powder into our mouths.

 

I was a magician. I performed the trick that I made together with Kevin from the third class. We put a die on a chest and then we took it out and instead of the die there was a cube with balls inside. After the show I ate some cotton candy.

 

My performance in the circus:

I was in the group “Pet Revue”. Our first appearance started after the short break. All were very nervous. At first the others presented many tricks with the goats. Then it was my turn, I led my goat onto the splits, and then I bent forward. After that the ponies came and did some tricks on a seesaw. At the end of the show the audience applauded loudly and we went back through the curtain. It was a very special moment!

 

On our school yard there was a big circus tent with booths. Two women sold cotton candy and popcorn. I performed acrobatics. Four children of our group did the splits. One of them did a lifting figure with our trainer Micky. Our training was in the gym. We had a funny time. When I stood behind the curtain I was very nervous, but when I stood in the arena it was funny.

 

I danced with cloths. My costume was great! I think the trapeze artists did wonderful things on the trapeze. My trainer was very nice, we called her Nanny. We baked some delicious things. The clowns were very funny. The final rehearsal was not so good, we made some mistakes, but the two shows were very good.

 

I was an acrobat with my friends. I was part of the “Eiffel Tower”, “Bridge”, “Fantasy picture” and “Brandenburg Gate”. I was dressed with blue pants and a blue vest. The circus work was in the gym with our trainer. On Tuesday and on Wednesday we trained for the circus. On Thursday we had our final rehearsal. In the evening we had our first show. One day we walked to the “Landhaus” and we learned to write with a typewriter. At the “Landhaus” we ate sweets. On Saturday we had our second show, it was cool, but it was rainy.

 

I was in the snake-fire-fakir-show. I breathed fire. I stood on a nail board. I sang a song. I saw the acrobats. I touched a horse. I rode a pony. I saw a snake.

 

I was a fire fakir. I lay on the broken glass and a little child stood on my chest. I touched fire, six times with my left and three times with my right arm. My group touched the snake. And two children breathed fire.

 

I was in the group of acrobats. We made a human pyramid. A small boy made a flickflack. I had to carry two small children. We performed at the end of the show. In my group there were 32 people. The big top was red. The clowns were funny. We trained in the gym. The jugglers and the horse tamers were good. The audience gave much applause. The trapeze artist was dressed as a lion. The juggler juggled with two juggling pins. The posts of the circus were red, blue, green,.. Many people bought popcorn and cotton candy. In the end all children came into the ring.

 

I’ll tell you about the circus project. On Monday I went to the classroom, where I would spend the rest of the week. And I went to Lisa and I was happy, because I like Lisa much. Our teacher for the week was Madame Lafrenz, Mrs Günther called Nanny was our trainer for the cloths dance. We went into the big top and watched the performance. I liked the new lightshow very much. On Tuesday we made waffles at 1.30 pm and we trained for the performance. On Tuesday I think the dancing was not so good, because it was a little bit crazy. On Wednesday I found the project was good, because we had much free time and that was good because one child was a pain in the neck. On Thursday group B was allowed to leave at 1.30 pm and group A had its performance. On Friday we had our final rehearsal at 9 o’clock, and the little child did nearly everything wrong and that was bad. At four o’clock there was our show and I was excited, but it was good. On Saturday I had to get up at 12 o’clock and my Mum, my Grandpa and my Uncle watched me and my sister. After our act we had to go outside and it was rainy. I was angry because the teacher had put our jackets into a box and…

 

In the circus week I was a clown. I played a stupid clown that tries to make a joke on another clown. Eric and Henry spat to me. In the other scene I played a clown who has to make a lot of noise. I found this week very funny because I like making the audience laugh.

 

I was a clown. In my first scene I ran across the arena and sprayed water to the audience with my water spraying fake-glasses. And in a second scene I was a queen bee and spat water onto Simon.

 

I was a pirate. I stung a sword into and through a ton. My friend Noé was in the ton. We ran around the ton with swords in our hands. I stood in the corner with a sword. All the boys performed a greeting. We were all very happy to finish this performance.

 

I was a trapeze artist. I found it so good and funny that I wish we could do this again. In the beginning I hang on the trapeze and in the end I made a double pyramid with Nil.

 

In the circus project I was in the pirate show. We were nine, one was in a ton and the others put swords into and through the ton. The boy in the ton wasn’t hurt, his name was Johann. In the end we had to run one tour around the ring very loudly. The trick was, that in one corner there weren’t any swords, and Johann was in this corner. But all of the boys were small and a bit annoying and I was the only boy from 6th class. And in the chest that Johann had “stolen” there was a compass. I had chosen the pirate show because it was the best.

 

I was in the fire fakir show. I saw a snake, the snake was long. I was in the arena and I saw my parents. I heard the horn from the clown. The girls spun the hoops. In the ring I saw the knife thrower. The cloths dance was very good. In the arena it smelled of popcorn.

 

Monday: I went into the big tent with my class to watch the show of the professional artists. That was super! After the show was finished the group A was divided, and I was in group A, cloths dance.

 

Tuesday: On Tuesday I was in the classroom of Mrs Krienke-Schmidt with my group “Cloths Dance”. My educators were Mrs Krienke-Schmidt, Mr Déniel and two preschool teachers. At 9 o’clock we danced the dance with Nanny, the artist and trainer of the circus. Until 11.30 am we danced and exercised the dance. From 11.30 – 1.30 we ate and played in the school yard with hoops,… After that we built the model of a circus caravan.

 

Wednesday: On Wednesday the group played in the classroom until 11.30 am. From 11.35 – 1.30 we ate in the canteen and played in the school yard. After me and the group had eaten and played, we trained the dance with Nanny.

 

Thursday: The final rehearsal started at 9 o’clock, the end was at 11.30 am. That was super cool. After that the group was in the canteen for lunch and then we played in the yard until 1.30 pm. From 1.30 until 4 o’clock we did some project work. And then the public performance for the parents began.

 

Friday: From 9 o’clock until 11.30 am all of the kids from the group A were the spectators of the group B. And from 11.30 until 1.30 there was the lunch break. At the end I went home at 1.30 pm.

Saturday: On Saturday from 10 until 12 o’clock there was my second performance. This was a super time in the circus!

 

In the project week we had the circus for one week. I was in the project “Cloths dance” group B. On Tuesday we made waffles in the room C1. And we trained for the show. On Wednesday we did training and we made pendants. In my free time I talked with my friends about the day. Sometimes we were in the classroom or outside. On Thursday group B went home at 1.30 pm and group A had its performance at 4 o’clock. I don’t know if their show was good. On Friday we went to Mr. Kolondirski and made music. Later we ate waffles, it was great, but the music wasn’t good. I don’t like his music, sorry, but this is my opinion. At 4 o’clock we had our presentation, I think it was good. On Saturday we had our second performance. I can’t tell about it, we were the first to perform and we couldn’t watch the whole show, it was too crowded. So this was my project week.

 

Last week a circus was at our school. I was in the group of clowns. In my first scene I was ….. four times, in the second turn I sprayed water into the face of the trainer.

My second scene was “Bienchen, Bienchen”. I was a bee and the other clown was a queen bee. I flew over parks, fields and forests, then I tool all of the honey from a bloom and flew again to my queen bee and nodded three times. The he said “Bienchen, Bienchen, give honey to me” and I spitted water into the face of the queen bee.

 

I was in the group of acrobats. My friend Elias was in the group with me. We learned to form human pyramids and one of us did a flickflack. His name was Rooney from the 3rd class. During the performance many of us were excited. But the two performances were very good and the audience was very happy. And after the show all were very happy. And the other group was very good, too. For example the clown with many gags. And the pirates’ show with swords. I found the circus project was very good.

 

I was a fire eater in group B. On Monday we watched the show of the circus artists, then we were divided into the groups. When we were in the classroom the teacher told us the plan of the week. Then we had a very, very long break. After the break we did handicrafts and drew pictures. On Tuesday morning we went to the “Landhaus”, we rode on horses, then a woman told us about hamsters and guinea pigs (where they live, what they eat….) Back in school the circus artist practised with us. It was very nice and funny. On Wednesday morning we did training again and we got our dresses for the show. Then we had a break and then we went home.
